The 18% shop supplies fee is a money grab, undisclosed until check out. I will not buy tires here with that arbitrary add on fee. Adjust your hourly rate and be transparent.

I live on the east side of Madison and willingly travel to the west side for vehicle service because I have always valued Smart Toyota’s customer service. I have also purchased all of my vehicles from Smart Toyota for this reason. Unfortunately, my most recent service visit was disappointing.
Prior to scheduling my appointment, I received a coupon in the mail and specifically spoke with a representative who confirmed that the coupon could be used toward my service. However, when I arrived for my appointment, my service advisor, Gregorio Jimenez, told me the coupon could not be used because it was not valid at that location. I was then told to go online to see what offers were available instead.
What was most frustrating was not just the coupon issue, but the lack of concern or effort to help resolve it. The interaction felt dismissive, and I did not feel valued as a long-time customer. This experience was unexpected and did not reflect the level of customer service that has kept me loyal to Smart Toyota over the years.
I hope this feedback is taken seriously, as customer service is the main reason I choose to continue doing business with Smart Toyota.

We have had a recall on our minivan for 4 of the 9 months that makes it not safe for us to use with our kids and no one is able to give us an answer as to when it will be fixed. It's also very frustrating that we bought this car specifically to drive our kids around and we can't do that safely.

After the service my oil cap was not replaced and made blew oil every inside the engine compartment. I would like a replacement engine oil cap if possible. Most of my experiences with Smart has been nothing but positive, but this one was a disappointment.
