Technician did not listen at the start of the interaction and was argumentative. Technician did not send updates on service by text as agreed upon form of communication, and had to return car as there was smoke coming in through AC vents as soap when engine was steamed cleaned was not washed off. A five thousand check up took three and a half hours. Originally, car was ready at 8:30 according to emails, but without agreed upon type of communication—I was waiting at Starbucks longer and then had to return when there was smoke and wait again. A very stressful experience to have.

The hood stand rod that keeps the hood open was not secured into its latch and so it had settled onto the engine. This has happened twice now. Easy fix—just have the service men click the rod stand into its place within the hood latch.
