The van was returned to me with no coolant. Didn’t realize it was missing coolant unit I was driving and it overheated. I had my daughter with me and it was so hot she was visually upset and red faced. It was already a frustrating situation, but to put my child in that position while I waited for my ride to turn around to come get us makes the situation even worse. There was no way to cool off and I felt helpless as she complained about being hot and not being able to do anything about it. This should Have never happened. Yet this is the second time I have gotten my van back from this dealership with fluids not being replaced. There is a check in to make sure fluids are where they need to be. There should also be the same process when the vehicle is complete. I specifically asked if the fluids were good before I left and was assured they should be.

I have never had any issues bringing my car here. Everyone at the check ins is always great, and typically never any issues once I get my car back. However today, they did not put my glove box back on properly after checking the cabin air filter. It was obvious that it did not close, and instead of fixing it, they just left it hanging open. I thought that was odd when I got my car back, so went to close it and it just kept popping right back open. I know something like that is not a big deal, but was something they could have redone so quickly. My husband fixed it once we got home, and it took him less than 5 minutes to take it back off and reattach it properly. Everything else was great today per usual, but something simple like that shouldn’t have been an oversight before giving my car back. I will continue to come back, it’s just frustrating, when it was something so simple like that.

I already spoke with someone so don’t need to again. I understand why the Kokomo dealership said they could not honor my warranty since I bought my car through another Toyota dealership however, I do still think it’s crappy of Toyota in general to offer such warranty and not explain clearly it may not be honored at other dealerships. I do not fault Kokomo, they took the time to explain but I was not happy with how things went so said dissatisfied on the surgery. It has nothing to do with Kokomo Toyota dealership and everything to do with the dealership in Indianapolis I bought it from not explaining it this way when purchased.
