I still don’t understand what “chippy” tires are, nor how they might affect the ride. It was the second reason given for not rotating the tires, so it just sounded like a made up excuse for not wanting to rotate the tires, especially as it was late and I’d imagine everyone just wanted to go home. If that actually is a thing, I would like to know how it might affect the ride, which was perfectly normal on the way home, by the way.
I also was told that the five oil changes and tire rotations went together with the package I purchased a while ago (I was under the impression I had one oil change left and two tire rotations, but was told I only had one of each left as they go together; not getting tires rotated at one of the oil changes apparently cost me a tire rotation). I re-read the sign in the lobby and I still think it says 5 oil changes and 5 tire rotations, independently.
