Went on a road trip Thursday and my check engine light came on. Opened the hood and the oil cap was missing. Called service and they said Tacoma's have that happen sometimes. Never in my 54 years has that happened. It was either never on or not tight. My service there before the rubber caps were still off my battery. I will not be back for service or for my next vehicle. I have more bad experiences there but I'm not the type of person to complain. What really bothers me the most is the potential for long term damage from debris entering the engine on a vehicle I have spent so much time keeping perfect. 22 thousand miles in 4 years and I won't know the extent of damage until more miles are on the truck.

1. Battery under warranty with Interstate; only offered replacement for full price, not a prorated battery as it was already under warranty with Interstate (apparently there is an agreement with Toyota and Interstate)-an additional stop for me.
2. Advised to replace my rear windshield wiper ($33)…and the rear windshield wiper has not worked properly for approximately a year, and is stuck in the upright position.
3. It should not take 2.5 hours for an oil change, tire rotation, air filter and car wash (which was optional, based on the line length). Much too long to sit for this type of service, especially with an appointment.

Call to get a service scheduled and told Mike need a service and my driver side blinker was messed up only when the lights were on and the brake pedal was pushed he said he would put it in with the service and like always with whomever I get it didn't happen had to have the guy I was dealing with take it back again to check on that I have been part of buying 12 car at this dealership and this is strike 3 with service dept I will be taking all my warranty work to vegas from now on!!! However I will definitely still be purchasing my vecholes there. Have committed numerous times about poor service and nothing changes so I will change where I go and give them a shot
