Yesterday's experience with David and Paul was great. However, I am still aggravated I had to bring my car in for a second time to get a correct diagnosis. The first diagnosis cost me hundreds of dollars unnecessarily and didn't solve the problem.

The estimated wait time was not at all close to reality. 1.5 hrs is much different than the 3 it was. I could have dropped it off if I was given accurate information. It also felt like they were completing walk-in customers in line with appointments. I had been given the impression that appointments are worked on first.

I only trust my beloved 2021 Camry to Evans Toyota and have never been disappointed in the service by the mechanics (who I’d like to actually meet to say thanks), the courtesy and assistance from the service techs, the shuttle drivers or the waiting area in the dealership Thanks.

The service advisors were fine, no issues there. This is my first Toyota, I got it new after having 2 Hondas just because of car shortages at the time due to COVID and I didn’t like the new Honda interiors compared to Toyota, which was exactly like my previous civic. I thought of that sadly today as I passed the Honda dealer on my way home from Evans Toyota with my still unsafe-to-drive Corolla. I called yesterday because I needed new break pads and rotors and potentially a caliper and was assured that the work could be finished today; I took half the day off work to get an early appointment and to give plenty of time to replace these parts. After waiting over an hour though to hear back on JUST the break inspection (despite Midas having already looked at it yesterday) I found out that the Toyota dealer I went to does not keep the rotors in stock and I would be unable to have my car fixed today. I wish that your service department could have told me yesterday that they did not have the part needed to fix the car; I never would have bothered bringing it in today if I knew you couldn’t fix it. Instead I had to pay $50 for a break inspection (again, knowing what the problem was) and wait nearly 2 hours to still leave in an unfixed vehicle. Unfortunately I’m stuck with my Corolla for now, but I’m pretty confident it will be the last Toyota I own.
