Aaron Newelle did good. My issue is with Carlson / Toyotacare policy. This was my first service appointment (5kmiles) after purchase. When I bought the car, Carlson put a sticker (with their name on it) stating to change the oil at 5k or 6 months. Now that I schedule the 5k/6month appointment they say that they don't change the oil at 5k, need to wait until 5k. At a minimum, this is confusing. I also am anticipating that while I'm under Toyotacare the frequency will be 10k, but after that has ended then Carlson will want to change oil every 5k. Typical dealer shenanigans.

The length of time to diagnose an issue which was already diagnosed a few weeks prior seemed to be extreme.when it came time to finally pick up my truck the maintenance needed message was still on and I needed to go back in and have someone come out to reset my truck.

I waited nearly 2 hours for an oil change. When my car was done, I was sent recommendations (battery terminals were corroded) that should be done. This recommendation should have been sent to me immediately so it could have been addressed BEFORE my car was done. Upon entering my car after service, there was a very large greasy hand print on the hood of my car. In addition, the plastic seat cover, paper floor mat and service ticket was left in my car. I’ll I ask is to receive my car in the same condition that it was in when I left it. This is unacceptable and is the worst service I have ever received from a Toyota dealership!

When making the appointment, I was verbally told the oil change would cost approximately $75. This was confirmed by the advertisement on the Cashier’s counter when paying for the service. However, the bill was more than $140 for the oil change. I feel very misled.
