I made an appointment to have 105,000 mile service on my 2019 RAV4 hybrid. At check in the service employee, iPad in hand, said it needed an oil change. I said it was in for tire rotation. She said they would check the tire tread as well as do the oil change. It was when I again questioned whether the oil change was done at 100,000 that she looked up the service record and agreed to do the tire rotation. She then also noticed that the cabin filter had also been changed at 100,000. Why was the service record not the basis for determining what service I needed? Why was it only after my repeating the 105,000 mile service of a tire rotation that the service record was consulted? I am now less likely to relax in the trust that Sunshine Toyota will be able to know (take care of) my routine recommended car maintenance needs. Up to this point they have been fabulous.
It was not Courtney. She is an excellent member of the team at Sunshine Toyota.

After the service was completed. I received my 2020 Toyota Rav4 back from the service advisor. I exited the garage and drove the SUV home. When I got home I opened the hood just curious. I saw that the part was changed which was great but it was a mess under the hood. Coolant was all over in the front of the engine. The tech that worked it did not clean up their mess. It is frustrating to recieve that kind of service from such a reputable company.
