Brought my jeep in for an oil change. Shop wasn’t able to loosen the parts to change the oil. Presented a quote for $1048 to fix the problem. Service advisor recommended I return to Mall of Georgia Chrysler who changed the oil last and have them fix. Well, MOG claims Akins beat on the plug trying to loosen it so MOG couldn’t get it out either and now I have a crack in the oil pan. So instead of a simple oil change, I’m out $800-$1000 for a repair and am without a vehicle until it’s fixed.

Over the last few years my experience with this dealership and the serví department has been terrible. I am constantly completing these surveys but nothing seems to change or get better. If anything, the experiences get worst. My vehicle was there for three weeks, after waiting almost 4 months for an appointment. I was originally given a timeline of 3 days, yet I had to call the service advisor and pick up my car. I am very disappointed with my experience with Akins.
