Everyone was professional, friendly and helpful. However no offer was made to simply replace the seal around the 3rd brake light assembly. Instead a brand new factory one installed. Cost of $1,000 instead of a $20 seal. Ridiculous! And very expensive. Seal should not have gone bad in 6 years - kept under cover most of the time. Ram switched suppliers for that seal - which tells me they knew there was a problem with those seals. If that’s the case why am I having to pay to replace it? And why isn’t that seal replaceable instead of having to replace entire light assembly? Appears ram knew of the issue but customers are having to pay for it
