Bobby was fantastic. Very professional and courteous. My concern after I picked up my vehicle lies with whomever actually attempted to diagnose or begin work, as the entire passenger desk was in the passenger seat, bolts were in my cup holder and lights on the instrument panel were on that were not previously on. I feel like I made the right decision by denying Akins from servicing my jeep because the technician totally missed that the jeep had a blown gasket. Also, after taking it to a different dealer, they were appalled at the inflated cost of the suggested repairs and successfully made the needed repairs, plus additional issues missed by Akins all for 2/3 of the cost. Only one of the original reasons for me taking it in was even addressed by Akins. Very disappointed in a dealer whom I have recommended for thirty years. My view is that Akins takes on too much and is not focused on the customer in front of them.

Erica avoided my calls. I haven’t called once where she has been available. She took the whole day to return calls, often calling in the evening after normal business hours. Between her, the technician, and her management, all refused to do work and follow my instruction. They acted like they owned the vehicle. I was willing to drop twenty grand for a repair job in order to get this truck running for a couple more months. Akins Ford refused my business. At first, Erica said they could do it, but would offer no warranties. I said, "No big deal, Ford doesn't stand behind their products anyway." After thinking it was a done deal, I received another call, yet again, refusing to service my truck. Erica expected me to ask for pricing on a new truck, but nobody in their right mind would buy a ford after being treated like this by Ford. I'm glad your business is booming to the point where you think you can call the shots, but you have lost my business permanently.

My van sliding rear door was not properly tested after repair. When parked on a hill the door came crashing closed after opening. They tried to say it was a different problem and part even though the door hold open latch worked fine before the actuator failed. They did final agree to drop the charges. This additional problem caused me to have to make additional trip and time to dealership.
