Rudy was great. He’s very personable and followed up with me regularly as this turned into a very expensive list of repairs. I had considered taking our business elsewhere due to a multitude of problems when we brought our truck to the Akins body shop during Covid. (This will be discussed further at bottom.) However, I’m glad I brought it to Akins as Rudy restored my faith in Akins ability to maintain my vehicles. (We also own a 2021 Expedition purchased new at Akins. Due the warranty on this vehicle it is serviced at our home.)
While I was not pleased to have a $4800 invoice waiting for me, as well as being charged an extra 3% for using a credit card, Rudy was terrific and kept me in the loop for the week Akins repaired my F150. I was glad to have him as my service advisor.
While I will be contacting Brad Akins to discuss the shoddy work done by the body shop, that just cost me $3500, this has nothing to do with Rudy. Rudy made a negative into a positive by providing stellar service.

Me as a customer the appointment desk did not inform me as a customer that there was a 3% credit card up charge for using a credit card. I think that when a customer is lookin to get service done and plan on using a credit card the 3% would be added to the bill. It's not a lot but this is something a business agrees to pay the card company not the customer getting work done.
