This has been a good and terrible experience, I called to get the recalls performed on my truck. The person I spoke with said I had 4, 3 could be done with a mobile tech and 1 had to be brought in after parts were ordered. The mobile tech came to the house to perform the 3 recalls and a couple weeks later I get called and told that he only did 2 because he misread the job information. I was offered to have another tech come out and asked if it could just be done at the dealer when I brought in for the axle repair. Weeks later I get the call the parts gave arrived and scheduled an appointment 2 weeks out, I was informed that it was a same day repair, I asked if that included doing the recall that was missed by the mobile tech and the scheduler was able to verify that it would be able to be done at the same time. I dropped off the truck at 8am on Tuesday, was provided a rental to for the day. When I called that evening around 4:30 because I hadn’t heard anything I was informed that it would be at least 2-3 days. While I was on the phone I asked for a quote for some tires and an alignment while it was there. I called back Thursday afternoon to ask for the quote and was told that he was busy and was looking for the quote, I just told him to take his time and email it over. Friday morning I reviewed the quote and replied that I was going to hold off a little longer (was expecting my truck to be done in the 2-3 days and didn’t want that delayed any longer). In the email o asked for an update on when it would be completed. No response to email all day, called late afternoon and was informed it hadn’t been started and would be at least the middle of the following week. Couldn’t give any details other than the shop was behind schedule, when questioned about why that wasn’t shared on Tuesday no answer was given. When the job was completed Tuesday I promptly picked up and the pick up experience was quick and easy. I’ve heard of bad experiences at the dealership that is 1 mile from work, so I made the choice to drive 30 minutes the wrong way from work and 45 from my house to bring the truck there. Really questioning if I made the correct choice now.
