I have questions about the recommendations for service.
One was to do a battery service
There was only minimal corrosion on one terminal
The water was low in three cells which was not corrected.
The next was to replace the battery.
This is an 84 month battery with 18 months of use. No reason was given for the replacement.
They always tell me that I need to change the oil in the differential. The owners Manuel says this is necessary if you tow, go off road or have a cartop carrier. I don’t do any of these activities. I have owned many vehicles in the last 50 years, several with over 100,000 miles and have never changed the rear end oil.
Last is the need to change the engine air filter. The filter has 15000 miles since changed about 1 1/2 years ago, it looks very clean to me.
I thought Angela was very helpful. She gave me an estimate on new tires which have been ordered and I will have replaced next week as well an alignment.
