The actual service was probably fine. I did have a problem with the communication with Chris. I presented with a request for an oil change and oil filter. I had set aside 1 1/2 hours for that as you have done that in the past. Chris insisted that could not be done and he would not authorize it as it could jeopardize his workers. My request was based on the fact of needing to show up for babysitting a grandchild who was sick.
However in the end, he did do that in about one hour from the beginning of the appointment time and that included a cabin filter change which was not important to me. What I didn’t like was the difficult resistant communication. No flexibility. Honestly, It was enough to make me consider changing to Riverside Lexus for service. I do not need or want a follow up call.

My 2nd key is without the key shanks( I think that’s the name of the part). No one had informed me of that. I got home and had to call the dealership and was told that the sale dept was supposedly gave me the key shank part upon point of sale, which that did not happen. Spoke with Ana on Friday, she submitted the request to the parts manager to order the key shank, and was supposed to give me a call back either Friday or Monday. Today is Monday and it’s 4:28 pm right now, I haven’t heard from anyone in regards to my missing key shank for my 2nd key. This 2nd key process is horrible for customers that have to jump over the hoops to wait for it and still have missing part to the key. Pls have someone from the dealership to give me a call on the missing part of my key.
