I will NEVER return to Honda for another service. The service tech Abel Aguilera was completely rude, for NO reason other than the fact that I purchased the minor service after he tried to sell the major service. When I picked up the car and asked simple questions, he was snide and condescending. My mom was with me and commented that she had such a bad feeling about Honda of Santa Barbara and she recommended her friend for servicing who I will be going to for any servicing in the future. Abel provided the WORST customer service I have ever received!!! I will, however, say that the lady who I checked out with at the front was extremely nice...

Hi there,
Just a quick note that about my experience when picking up our van on Saturday afternoon. I got a call saying that the service was complete. I got there roughly an hour later to pick it up. When I got there, I waited 10 minutes (not a big deal at all, I expect that) before I was escorted to the service desk to pay. Someone was asked to bring out the van but they said (over the walkie) that they needed 20 minutes to wash it since two of the other guys were on their lunch break. I had expected to wait for it after hearing that, but instead it was brought out immediately, unwashed. So, I went ahead and left since I had my son with me, it was lunchtime, and I figured I'd rather not wait since the van was right there. NOT a huge deal.
HOWEVER, there is some food for thought here: the call telling me the van was ready should not have been made until it was actually ready to be driven away, with the full service being complete.
I don't say this as a "disgruntled customer" at all. I'm always happy with the service I get with you guys and everyone is friendly and awesome. Just figured you'd like to know about this, since minor improvements can always help.

Abel was very helpful. There seems to be a need for more oversight for follow up. Although Abel made a couple specific requests on my behalf, the work was not done. Abel did make sure some of the work got done but there were delays and I ran out of time before everything could be done.
