Service Advisor Bonnie was great in getting mechanics to look at my 2017 EXL CRV oil level. However, mechanics called the oil level over the top of the orange plastic measuring area of the dipstick as no problem, when the manual p559 says "NOTICE Do not fill the engine oil above the upper mark. Overfilling the engine oil can result in leaks and engine damage." I am disappointed in their neglect of this problem. Overfilling may be caused by some mechanics confusing the amount of oil for 1.5L engines (3.7qt) with 2.4L engines (4.6qt)? Do I need to find another service department?

This was my first time dropping my car off for service. When I bought the car less than a week prior, the finance specialist put into the the computer that I would need a ride to UCSB at 8am when I drop the car off for perma plating. I arrived on time but no shuttle was there. I was told to wait and that when one was ready, they’d announce it over the PA. 30 minutes pass, no announcement. Luckily a manger walked by and told me they run every hour, and luckily there’s one in another 30 minutes. I also waited 45 minutes for a pick up at the end of the day!!

You should set up all the shuttle drivers with bluetooth, GPS, and a magnet mount for the phone. It slows things down if they have to pull over to call someone tbey are picking up or read the map on their cell phone.
