It was early afternoon when I called with a broken shift lever. Inwas delayed so arrived at the darship at 4:00 pm (after jury rigging the shift lever with my pocket knife. Carlos was , gracious about my being late and said that he would see what he could do. He worked his magic and the car was fixed.
I do have a question for the Honda company: I’ve had the car 9 months, and the gear shift side button breaks? It expect Honda todo better. I hope that it doesn’t break again in another 9 months. I’d be interested to see failure rate for the part that broke. I hope mine was a fluke.

Hi. Abel said the car was fine and they found no indication of a malfunction. Well, the car failed on my way home to LA today -- same issue as yesterday -- and it is back in the shop at Culver City Honda. "Power system problem" indicated on dash. Car completely shut off while in traffic. Not good.

I was satisfied with my last service at Santa Barbara Honda because I was helped by Carlos Lira who was clear and respectful when he communicated with me. I was not helped by Abel Aguilera. Abel's communication was not satisfactory when he did help me before. Abel made me feel dumb and disrespected. He took 500 dollars I had to work hard to recover due to poor communication. Carlos Lira was much more patient and helpful.
