I understand it was a busy morning, however, anyone working in customer service should be polite and not rude. Heidi seemed to be overwhelmed and said customers are not just numbers so she will take her time with each one. I agree with that. What I DO NOT agree with was her rude tone and she also came across as arrogant. I paid almost $200 for a service yesterday which today appears to not have been done completely because my car made a rattling noise in the engine and it overheated this morning. I will not be returning to Northridge Toyota. I went there because it is a bit closer than Hamer Toyota, but I will be returning to Hamer Toyota. On a side note, when someone isn’t kind and polite, they should not be working in customer service. As I waited almost 5 hours for my car, and I did have a 9am appointment, I was approached by Byron who was the only pleasant person I spoke with yesterday. Well, the elderly man who put the number on top of the car and told me he alerted Heidi I was there, was also polite and professional. Thank you for taking the time to read this and I do hope you’ll take steps to at least make sure Heidi treats customers with respect and professionalism. Although, she did tell me she has been working there for 16 years so she is going to do things the way she has been. Not something she should have said to me or any one else. Thank you. Came in to get regular maintenance which I do every 6 months of 5,000 miles whichever comes first. I told advisor that the car drives fine no issues except for the metallic sound when braking in reverse. Gave advisor videoclip of the sound. There was some inconsistency with recommendations and what was on the multipoint inspection report. It showed the battery was bad; recommended to buy new battery. Got a battery system check at AutoZone and found that the battery was good but the alternator was bad. The car made a small metallic noise when braking in reverse and gave advisor the videoclip of the sound. I didn’t get a clear response for why it’s happening. The report showed all brakes were good, but recommended to get rear brake shoes replaced, machine rear drums. Went to Firestone and found all brakes were good. They recommended cleaning. Report showed suspension was bad; recommended front shocks’ replacement. Firestone checked all shocks and reported all are in good working condition. We’ve trusted Northridge Toyota with our cars, usually get good recommendations but this time I was confused, which led me to go to other mechanics.

My visor fell out of the ceiling 20 minutes after I left my mirrors that I cleaned this morning were actively in worse condition when I picked up my car then when I dropped it off and my windows which I actively told the technician when I handed him the key were just tinted and that they should not touch them had the tint damaged

Second time at this location , work 6 days a week and it’s hard to really try and fit my services in but I feel like the team does a very well job of helping me out with my busy schedule . Had to drop my car off during my lunch and earlier than scheduled but team does best to accommodate and help me out . Alex has been awesome the two times I have been there . Car feels really good after service .

Unfortunately, this service had to do from a mistake from an earlier service appointment of an oil change and unfortunately, I left the dealership and there was no oil cap at the complete of my service so I drove home, not knowing that oil was splattering all over my engine, bay and engine
