Definitely a disappointment. I made it clear I was coming from out of town and would like to know if I’d have to leave my car there for the problem my car had because id have to either stay in the area or find a ride back home. They never gave me an answer. I took my car in on Thursday 7:30am. I was waiting for hours to receive an update. I had to follow up each time. Turns out they transported my car to the factory dealer to get the piece replaced. They wouldn’t give me a rental because it “didn’t interfere with safety” under my warranty but that is the reason why I purchased the all state protection program which should have rentals provided for when my car would need to stay in the shop. And they still denied me transportation although not knowing how many days they would keep my car and I lived almost 4 hours away from the dealer. Later when I call to ask for an update, they said the part would would be there the following Tuesday. Tuesday comes around, I call again, and they said it should get there by Wednesday or Thursday. They call me Thursday afternoon to pick up the car. I travel back up to Fontana to pick up the car at 6:10pm pick up the key from the receptionist and take my car. An hour into my drive I find out the problem wasn’t fixed, the module piece they replaced wasn’t completely working. So since service is closed, I’m forced to find a hotel and stay the night to take the car back in in the morning. I called sales to place a note for service so they can address this situation ASAP. I called service at 8am the next morning to see if they got my message, they didn’t follow up again, I told them the situation, they said to give them 15 min to call me back and they didn’t. I called them an hour later to figure out what was going on. They said they were having a hard time getting a hold of the factory dealer. I ask for the factory dealer info., check out of the hotel And I take my car to the factory dealer in Ontario myself. The factory dealer was professional and got it fixed and kept me informed the entire time I was waiting for my car to be ready. Rock Honda on the other hand handled everything very unprofessional and weren’t understanding to any of the situations whatsoever, they never kept me informed. I was without a car for a week. And they gave me back my car without even inspecting if the problem was even fixed to begin with. Inconveniently had me take a trip back up to Fontana to spend more money on gas and on a hotel just to take my car back in the next morning. They didn’t leave me with any transportation options knowing I had no vehicle for a little over a week. I originally got my car at Rock Honda and I am beyond disappointed and hope to never have to do business with them again. I learned to just go straight to the factory dealer since they can’t even service my car let alone diagnose it correctly. Terrible experience.

The next day after service which is today July 10. 2020 there is a metallic rubbing sound coming from Underneath the car I think which occurs only after going over dips in the road it seems. Not sure what it is but will have to bring it back in. The service itself took 2 1/2 hours and seemed to be ok afterwards but I didn’t drive on a bouncy road until today on Archibald north of Lemon above the 210 in Rancho Cucamonga. The sound was really pronounced when going over a stretch of road over which the car bounced up and down a little due to the wavy asphalt with dips in it. I looked under the car and under the hood but didn’t see anything in particular that looked like it could explain the Odd noise.

The service was very unimpressive, I had an appointment and I still had to wait an HOUR to be helped. There were 5 people in service and only 1 person was helping all of the customers. That service is unacceptable. Once I finally was helped it was good service.

I had an appointment and was a few minutes early but they had me wait in my car for 20 minutes, in the service lane. The gentleman that came out was less than friendly not even making eye contact with me. This is the third time that I have had sub par service. However I did have great service from parts department and also while looking at a new car with Johnny.
