I had a few issues this visit. Though I received texts to keep me informed, I did not get adequate replies to questions I had. When I dropped off the car at my appointment time, I was warned it would take about 4 business days to get my car looked at. I’m not sure why I would set an appointment and then it have to wait 4 days for it to be serviced. It also seemed the pick up process was not all that easy, having to get 2 people (who weren’t there) to sign off to release it.

One thing I was not happy about was when I entered my vehicle. The plastic cover on the driver seat was left behind along with the paper floor mat. I noticed also the front passenger seat was reclined all the way back and was not put back in it’s original position when I dropped the car off.

We dropped our Kia EV9 on Wednesday 07/30 for a next day service where we told the Kia representative that our passenger windshield wiper was not working. The person said that a diagnosis might take 3-4 days. Over the weekend we hear nothing from the service department. On Monday 08/04 we text Josh who says that they’ll respond when they have a better idea of the repair. We hear nothing for the rest of the day. I try to call the service number at 530-6pm and I don’t get a ringtone. On Tuesday 08/05, I call Josh for an update and he tells me they haven’t diagnosed the issue yet. On Wednesday we receive a text telling us the car is ready. During pickup my car is parked on the lot in a row with other cars. The cars are parked closely so I ask if they could move a car so that I can leave. The service person looks at me and says “you can’t leave on your own?” Luckily a service technician sees me struggling to pull out and pulls the car behind me back so that I can get out. We also talk to Mike Donnelly who kindly says that he believes that the wiper wasn’t connected to the electricity. That’s exactly what the issue was and he diagnosed it when he heard me talking about it when we brought the car in. Looking on the repair receipt and the repair took 12 mins but they held my car for 6 days and another service person knew the issue with the car when I was describing it. The communication was non-existent and and service people were extremely negative. Not a great experience.

The car started by itself this afternoon. I called the dealer for advice. Was put on hold for 10 minutes before I called back. Was told Nathan would call us beck. Still no call.
