After experiencing a very stressful day, Kirby Subaru resurrected my day. I took my car through a car wash and it tore off my Thule storage box. The crossbars were destroyed and I was at a loss. Thanks to another wonderful person, I was able to get my Thule packed into my car. I was quite shaken by the event as I had traveled thousands of miles and was within reach of being with my son in Burbank. As a 66-year-old woman on a solo road trip, I had my confidence shaken. I was thankful that the crossbars were in stock and they were installed within 45 minutes. But to my utter joy, the service person must have relayed my story to Management and they did not charge me for installation. Twice in one day I was reminded of the goodness of the human spirit. As we move through these shaky times in our country it is so important that we greet each other human to human. That is what happened to me today. Many thanks to your dealership and to the lovely woman that listened and responded to me..

I’m 71 years old. When I was in junior high and part of high school I worked at my dads drug store. In college I worked at a high end department store. Then I went to Vietnam. When I got out I got a management position at that same store. Bullocks Westwood. 1970. Everything from my early childhood was about customer service. I just came for the 6 month service for my 2019 Subaru Outback. No big deal. I walked into the service office and only 3 people there at that time. No customers. No one looked up. Girl in the front looking down like she was busy. Guy in left back and girl right back in a conversation. They never looked at me or acknowledged I was there. I stood for approximately 2 minutes looking towards them and they never looked towards me. I sat and then after approximately one minute guy on left rear finally acknowledged me. I stood and sarcastically asked if they were done with their conversation. I was a little bit pissed off. I then got help. So much for the customer is more important than their personal conversations. Sorry. I’m a customer comes first taught person.

I really appreciate the service I received from Kirby Subaru. Today I was informed about a problem my car has that is still under warranty. I am pretty sure that the dealership my other cars were from in the past would have waited until the warranty had expired before informing me of the problem. Kudos to you Kirby's.
