Light bulb for gear shift panel was not in stock and I was not informed until later in the afternoon while my honda was being serviced for a separate issue. The main reason I scheduled my appt 2 days before was to get the gear shift bulb replaced. Another honda dealership had the bulb in stock so we picked it up, paid for it and brought it to a service advisor so it could be installed. Seemed like poor planning that the bulb was not in stock for my service appt.

John was great, as always, and I appreciate his support. That said, I’m still struggling to understand how there isn’t another way to diagnose the ongoing Apple CarPlay issues. It’s hard to believe I’m the only customer experiencing this. Are others being told the same thing? Has there been any guidance or insight from Honda corporate or their engineers?
It’s frustrating to have dealt with this for years without a real resolution. I truly hope more can be done to get to the bottom of it.

I was not the one that dropped off the car, I was not able to confirm.
