Jessica was super awesome! I explained the issue with my new Ridgeline. She asked me to take her for a short drive on the lot so she could hear the noise coming from the engine. The steering was wobbly and a squeaking sound came from the engine. She saw and heard both issues. Got my truck back and turned out that a metal wire had gotten caught up in the engine or wheel well. Despite having an appointment, i had to wait 15 minutes for a service manager. I had to look into the service area for a service manager and saw Josue on his phone. There was no line nor anyone at his desk. When I opened the door, he quickly put away his phone and began entering things on the keyboard.
When the vehicle was ready, I had to walk over to ask. He looked up and said, "Oh! They just dropped off the paper work." It looked like he was preoccupied and the paperwork had been there longer. After I checked in about the car being done, i noticed the time was about 3:30 pm.
Yet, Josue sends me a message that it was ready around 3:45 pm.
After going over the checkpoints report, he pointed out that the transmission oil needed to be changed asap because it was dirty. I wondered why he didn't bother to inform me of this when the vehicle was already undergoing the oil change? Is this a system protocol issue? Seems to me that the work is inefficient if I have to bring my vehicle back again. It's an inconvenience and costs more time and money.
