Firstly, I’m disappointed that my brand new CR-V hybrid sport touring (less than 500 miles) had a catastrophic failure and had to be towed to the dealership. After waiting three hours for a Ho da Roadside Assistance tow truck, I finally arrived at the dealership. I was checked in by a polite young man and told where to park my car. I waited over 30 minutes before I was even acknowledged by a service rep. After my vehicle was taken to the back, I waited almost one and a half hours before Mr. Huynh took me into his office to try to explain the problem with my car, that he didn’t have the necessary part(s) to fix it and he didn’t know when he would get the parts. Mr. Huynh tried to tell me the car would still be ok to drive because the gas motor was still functional. I didn’t want to take the car home because I felt the car possibly going into limp mode, as it did to my wife, while I was in the freeway. Mr. Huynh could not assure me that wouldn’t happen again. He was very hesitant to provide me with a loaner vehicle. I had to promise to bring it back in 48 hours because my wife would be working from home the rest of the week. I still have no idea when my car that I’ve owned less than a month will be repaired and returned to me. I’m very disappointed in the service portion of Norm Reeves West Covina and the failure of the Honda brand.
