The previous time I picked up my car from it's maintenance service, I noticed that the automatic screen dimmer stopped working. This last time When I drop the car off for maintenance, I told the person that it wasn't working and when I picked up the car, he said the day mode was turned off and to make sure that the censor wasn't covered. They turned day mode on, but the automatic screen dimmer still is not working. On a side note, when I bought the car, the salesperson told me the my car came with android auto, but it doesn't. Big draw back, considering I use a Samsung phone. Is there a way to put android auto in my car?

They are not as knowledgeable as the actual person servicing the car
I know it’s not as efficient but would be ideal if we could speak to the mechanics if we felt the need
