Lack of communication from the team. Inaccurate information. Felt very mislead.
I called many time to explain the circumstances of the first key being lost, was never told I was going to be charged, and as a matter of fact, was promised a second key in a voicemail. I must have called at least 5 times before towing my car over and was insured the fob was covered. I arrived at the dealership and was told I was going to pay around $900. Larry even said Q didn’t know what he was talking about and dropped the price at $493. He made it sound like this was a discount. When in fact I was just paying a normal price of a fob. To top it all off I was told that this would be considered my second key, and will not be receiving a second fob for free as I was promised. Although they told me they couldn’t consider this the second key.
I love Toyota this is my second RAV4. I have never felt so cheated and mislead. I will not be returning to this dealership. A report has also been filed with Toyota regarding this and the voicemail regarding the promise of my second covered key is saved.
It would have been nice for Toyota to take care of there loyal and long time customers.
