My appointment today was for an oil change, tire rotation and cabin filter replacement. I arrived at 12:50 for my 1:00 appointment. By 4:00 my car was STILL out of the service bay, it hadn’t even been brought into the service bay!! Yikes!! I picked up my car at 4:45. Although I was given a 15% discount , an oil change shouldn’t take 3.5 hours!!! What’s up with that???I was told I needed new tires and an alignment which I’m still grappling with as I bought my current tires from Toyota SD and they had 58,000 miles on them. Questionable quality on your tires, Toyota SD????? Nevertheless I made the appointment for tomorrow for new tires and an alignment. I understand it usually takes 2-3 hours for this service. Let’s hope Toyota SD can perform this service within a more reasonable time frame than the nonsense I experienced today!! If your mechanics are that behind in their appointments, there are other places that can do the work if Toyota SD is unable to keep up.

In my 30 years of getting my various Camry’s serviced at Toyota San Diego/ Norm Reeves, today was the most complete, professional, and personable service I’ve had. Simona Teslenko was/is outstanding. From check in to check out, I was treated as the loyal customer I have been to the dealership and the Brand. To be honest, I was expecting much less for this 22,000 mile service at this time given the changes at the dealership over the years. I considered - a lot - of no longer using the dealership.
