Steve Mendoza did an exceptional job! He is always very courteous and you can tell he is passionate for what he does. Honestly, one of the worst service experiences I’ve ever had at Honda.
I pulled up my car and someone came over to put a cone on my car. I expected an associate to come follow up with me shortly after. I ended up waiting 10-15 minutes for someone to come assist me - my car was blocking other cars behind me and mechanics couldn’t move the cars behind me (their associates had already helped them). Two of the outside people went to go check what was taking so long, but offered no explanation of why it was taking so long.
Finally, Julie Canales came out to help me; she was cold and didn’t offer an apology for taking so long, but I didn’t care as long as I could let her know what I needed and get to my ride who was waiting for me.
Fast forward to when my car was complete, I went to go pick up my car and Julie was on lunch. Another associate assisted me with checkout. But the problem was he had no idea where my key was - Julie didn’t tell anyone where my key was. I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. After waiting a bit, the associate found my key on a random desk and I was able to get on with my life.
I just can’t believe how terrible my experience was. If I come back, I will specifically NOT request Julie

Besides maintaining issues with Bryan Salas, I was more disappointed with the work performed by the mechanic. Besides an oil changed, I made the mistake of mentioning that one (1) of the car keys not work after replacing the battery. Bryan told me that a replacement key could be produced as good as the original.
After waiting over three (3) hours without any receiving any updates, I finally received my car. After testing the key, it did not manually open the driver’s side door. Although I received assistance from the service manager, she could not resolve this issue. I expected better quality of service from the number #1 Honda dealership. Before contacting American Honda, I wanted to give Norm Reeves an opportunity to resolve this matter.
Being a longtime Honda owner, I can’t believe the poor quality of work performed at the Cerritos Honda Dealership.

Rubén was super nice and friendly but I dislike that I arrived to my appointment 10min early to be skipped and gotten. I had to get out my car and ask why I’m being skipped and finally I was seen by an advisor. I understand it does take time I have waited before 3 hours but today I waited 5 hours with my 4 year old toddler. Literally many people who came before me left earlier than me. They need to be more organized on who comes first and observant with the appointments. My appointment was at 1pm and left at 5pm. Very disappointed.
