I don’t like the service advisor popping my hood and making a diagnosis in seconds that my timing belt needs to be replaced. That is what your mechanics are for. He said he could see grooves on the underside of the belt, which are actually supposed to be there, and backtracked when I questioned him about it when paying telling me he said they were horizontal cracks. That is not what he told me originally. I also didn’t receive the mechanics multi point inspection report that they always give me after I paid and picked up my car
