Thanh explains and follows up. I went in for an A1 and alignment and was given a long list of leaks and repairs. He explained which were safety related and which could be pushed to the next service appointment. He like the other service people I’ve had over the years (Octavio, Anthony Ortiz, Julie Canales, Andrew Ruiz) has never made me feel stupid for asking questions even when they were pressed for time. Thanh was also able to arrange for a loaner vehicle for me this time without having to go through the additional headache of going through the rental agency. In my 10+ years of going to Norm Reeves Honda Service Dept, Thanh is one of the good ones.
To be absolutely truthful, I was mad at arrival. The first service person who came out to assist me called me by a wrong pronoun and then made the assumption I was married. I recognize that the intake process becomes rote after a while, but the customer still appreciates being listened to and not just superficially heard. Because I was highly irritated by his intake style, I asked for Thanh.
