There is no need to contact me to follow up. The service advisor, Miguel, was great. The issue I have is the tremendous disappointment that stems from the fact that I had to pay almost $2K to fix an issue that Honda knows is affecting numerous amounts of civics. They have offered coverage only on the parts that are less costly and laborious to repair. My civic is the second Honda I purchased and honestly after this experience it’s my last. I have no trust in Honda to make the right choices for their consumers. Their actions clearly demonstrate that priority is profit only. Having customers pay a diagnostic fee is another rip off. I am grateful that my vehicle is fixed and though it would’ve been nice to at least have a car wash after paying so much but instead there’s a set of greasy handprints in front of my hood from when the tech opened it I’m guessing. Regardless, I don’t think a carwash would have eliminated the serious consideration I am giving to selling my civic and going back to Toyota. Toyota might have its issues but I’ve never had to pay upfront, especially for something I didn’t cause.
