Since September 2023, my car radio hasn’t been working and will only show the Honda symbol. I took my Honda HRV 2022 to be looked at along with an oil change. Steve Mendoza who was assigned to take care of my services failed to contact me about the progress of my radio, they had to keep my vehicle over the weekend. On Tuesday I contacted him, clueless to what Honda was going to do about fixing my radio. Steve did not answer his phone multiple times, messages were left for him to contact me later. He then told me the radio he had did not fit in my car. He had to order a new one. I couldn’t be without a vehicle, Honda told me they didn’t have a rental for me. Which was absurd. I got dropped off at the dealer that day and had to pick up my car with the radio still in the same conditions. I could not charge my phone in either outlet! I no longer have usage of apple car play, which is needed for my maps, to answer hands free phone calls, and simply play my music. It’s been over 5 months and still have not had any contact from Steve! I would make calls to the dealership and asked to be transferred and he is never available. I’m leasing my vehicle, and paying a lot of money for not being able to use all the features! Mind you, the radio issue was not damaged by the user, it is a recall. Honda norms Reeves Cerritos has the worst customer service/care! They do not care about helping their customers, giving updates, or seek to find the solution of an issue.
