I was called by the service technician Robert, was told he was able to get me 5% discount. I told him I was offered 10% a couple weeks ago from another technician when I had my vehicle serviced for an oil change but denied service at the time. Told me he would work on getting more savings, but I never received a call back letting me know if he was able to or not. I sent a txt message asking for the status of vehicle, didn't receive a reply. So I show up at the Service Center to see my vehicle parked outside the service center complete but I never received a message about my vehicle being ready. The whole reason I put my vehicle in service was due to a squealing noise when moving at idle. Was told the timing belt was the issue and that the timing belt/water pump kit would fix the problem. I did get the service done along with my spark plugs. As I'm driving I can still here the squealing noise which seems that it went up a pitch. I don't understand how I spend close to $2,000 in service work and I'm leaving with a worst noise than when I brought it in. There has to be some kind of sign off of the work performed and to make sure the vehicle is running smooth with no defects. I picked my vehicle up around 3:30, had the proper procedures be done and the noise heard at the time of service there would been more than enough time to troubleshoot to problem. But instead I fill as though the mechanic and Honda Cerritos overall just gave me my car so they can move onto the next vehicle. Me and my wife have a very busy schedule, we scheduled today weeks in advance knowing we would be without our vehicle. Now it looks like I have to go back and waste more time because your Service Team FAILED to catch a simple squeal as you drive which was the main reason my was vehicle serviced. So to answer the question over again I AM NOT HAPPY WITH MY SERVICE HERE AT CERRITOS HONDA.

Dropped the car night before my scheduled 7.20am appointment, called 8 times to check, finally received the call at 2.30pm, asking me why is my car at the service center. Complete waste of time and doesn't seem Norm Reeves care about their customers. I bought 2 cars, one in 2019 and other 2020, and been coming to the service since, I will not make another mistake by trusting you again.

I brought my vehicle for oil change and window regulator/switch that I purchased a extended warranty thru credit union. I requested a prior authorization from service advisor to the my warranty company before going forward with the diagnostic service which was $150+. I was hesitant to go thru but Joseph reassured me that all that the warranty would take of the repairs and and all that I would pay is the deductible of $250. I was hoping that I would get a call from him if there any issues with warranty. So fast forward 5-6hrs later no call/text during the time in between. I rec’d text around 3p giving me news that warranty would not cover my car and that I have to still pay for diagnostic service. I requested the service advisor to call me. I didn’t her back from 45min later. I told that I wish he had contact me 1st before going thru with that service or contact the warranty company to get prior authorization be cause I already knew the extent of the faulty part. In short there wasn’t anything he could for me but give so-called discount of $20 which I felt was mediocre.

I had an appointment at 8am. I was in line on site at 7:55am. It took them more than 30minutes to even check me in and only after I had asked an employee, if not they had assumed my appointment was at 8:40 since that’s what the flag on my car said (another mistake on Hondas service employees) Once checked in they estimated about 3-4 hours for service and expected time for pickup to be 12pm. Ok at 12pm I call and ask about my car. They had not even started on my vehicle and it had just been sitting at the dealer for 4 hours. This was such a inconvenience and is just bad customer service. Why provide appointments if they won’t be honored? Also, they never called me about This delay, rather I had to call them. I only got my car serviced there due to the recall, but I will never be getting work done at Honda Cerritos after this experience.
