Even though you could not replicate the problems I was having with my transmission, it would have been prudent to trust my experience and knowledge and at least performed a transmission service to see if the fluid was showing sign of stress and check for metal shavings, etc.
My 50 year old GTO shifts smoother.
On the other hand, customer service staff and communication is excellent!
