Follow up and updates to the customer could have been improved and more accurate. Our service was for a replacement wheel. After a week from the first visit to the dealer, we had to call to inquire in the status of the part. The reply was let me check. We didn’t receive an update until we followed up again a few days later and often had to ask for updates rather than having information pushed to us. When we did get our part and appointment confirmed, it took nearly 2 hours for our truck to even leave the drop off line and another two hours to essentially program a replacement key and mount/balance one tire. The time seemed excessive when we were led to believe it would only be a couple of hours total, and when we received the vehicle back the spare wasn’t even stowed back under the Yukon. It was thrown back into the cargo area.
