First time ever I had such a terrible experience at Putnam Lexus where we have been customers for over ten years. We dropped off the car for sensor repair after a car accident. Our representative was Winston Lam. Follow up from him was poor. After insurance adjuster approved repair, he proceeded with repair work and body shop work without our final approval. Furthermore when the car repair was done he never reached out and told us that it’s ready and what was done till my husband called him. We had trouble with the discrepancy of what he said needed done and what was approved and the fact that the car was taken to the body shop without our consent. He said he would talk to his supervisor to make things right for us and never called back for five working days, granted that he was off Monday and Tuesday of the week, shouldn’t someone get back to us about the car? When I finally didn’t want to wait any longer for his follow up and showed up in the shop, I was told he’s gone home after I have made phone calls to him earlier that day. I was shocked by this lack of concern for his customers. Randy Auyang stepped in and took care of the situation and I was able to get the car back.

My worst experience with Putnam Lexus. It was nighttime.
1. Shuttle driver never shows up to pick me up from work.
2. They sent two Ubar drivers who did know where to pick me up from.
3. Service Dept. Manager never available to talk to me face to face.
4. No one from Putnam called me to let me know that the shuttle driver goes home at 3pm.
5. I did not get to pick up my car until the following Morning.
6. Called Corporate Office and filed a complaint.
7. Customer service ****.

Mr Dong did an OUTSTANDING job, as always, with communicating the parts of my vehicle that were worn and in need of repair/replacing and keeping me informed of ordered parts arrival and the technician's progress. Since my GX470 is now 13 years old and the front end design of the current GX460 is COMPLETELY unattractive and unacceptable to me, I plan on getting another 150k miles out of this SUV; Mr Dong is the most important interface that Lexus has regarding my customer loyalty.
