I made the appointment on 12/28 for a major service and 4 tires to be replaced on 1/4. I called the Parts Dept. in advance to check if the 4 tires were in stock and received confirmation. I have informed the person making the appointment regarding my conversation with the Parts Dept regarding the availability of the tires. On 1/4, I received a call at 14:47 that the major service was completed, but the tires had just arrived and will not be able to work on the tire replacement until mid day next day. While this was not a major inconvenience to us as a loaner car was available, this incident has now violated the trust in Lexus-level quality. From this point on, I will have to be treat you more defensively much like any other auto service providers. My issues were: 1. Tire inventory not allocated for the confirmed service date, while making a commitment that the job would be completed on that day. 2. The inventory shortage was not communicated until 14:00 on the day of the service, after the tires arrived at the service center. 3. There was no effort to complete the tire replacement within the next 3 operational hours, which should have been a known issue at the start of the day. Based on the reasons above, I believe this was quite a sub-standard service quality for Lexus. I am pointing this experience out so that you may be able to address the issue and return to winning the confidence of Lexus customers.

When ai bought the car, they told me that if I need to adjust the digital clock, just let them know at any of the service appointment. So When I dropped off my car with Eric, I told him in person that the digital clock in this car has been wrong since ai bought it. Eric said yes he will take a look. When I picked up my car after the 20k mile service, the digital clock is still wrong. I do not want to call them again just for this. I guess I will live with the wrong clock until my 25k service. Small inconvenience.

George was great to work with and very responsive to my questions. The repairs involved insurance coverage and George was proactive in maintaining contact with the insurance company and insuring repairs were completed as quickly as possible. I look forward to seeing George in the Service Dept in the future.
