Was promised a loaner car, which is why I waited until the end of the week to bring the car in for service.
No loaner available, even though that was promised. Solution of a rental car paid by Putnam was not satisfactory. Cost me hassle, time, and if I fell for it, purchasing additional insurance. A scam if you ask me.
My expectation was not met. Further, my trust in Putnam damaged.
I suspect my repairs more than covered the cost of the rental car. But who will pay for my additional time? My hourly rate is $250 to my clients. Today’s fiasco cost me an additional $500.
My advice? Offer the truth when accepting a reservation for service. Tell the client that there won’t be a loaner available, but Putnam will pay for a rental car.
Don’t expect your employees to deliver the bad message.
David did a good job, even though he was in a difficult position.
Sorry, but I expect more from a ‘reputable’ dealership.
And I was not the only client today who received the same treatment. The one client I spoke with was livid. And rightfully so. I wonder how often this happens?

I was able to schedule for same day service and my car was also ready in 1.5 boys…exceptional. Only complaint is that a basic 50k mile service of oil change tire rotation and so filter and inspection is EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE at $500

Regarding my concern about my rear passenge tire. I mentioned it to my advisor that tire it was low air pressure before i went to my appointment i put some air on it . So my appointment already done , i ask him if there is something wrong with my tire and he said its ok and they did tires rotation too. Yesterday my tire air pressure went donw to 23 again at the same location rear tire at passenger . Juat wandering if they check my tire or they just put some air on it , and if they rotate my tires.
This is unacceptable because its wasting my time , i need to go back to putnam lexus tomorrow just to check that tire that i already complain about it.
