I brought my car in for regular maintenance, and also to get the struts replaced. When I dropped off the car, my glove compartment door wouldn't close, and I asked for that to be looked at as well. My service advisor George gave me a call later in the day to let me know that the car wouldn't finish that day, and I would have to pick up the car the next day; this was something he had already shared was a possibility when I dropped off the car so it wasn't a big deal. He also shared that he will be on vacation starting the next day, so he would be handing off to his colleague David to keep me informed the next day. I got a call from David the next morning that my car was ready to be picked up, with no additional information about the glove compartment. When I picked up my car, I was just told to pay, again with no additional information about the glove compartment. As I flipped through the stack of papers with the receipt and service record, I found on the last page that - 1) There's a nail in one of my tires, and they recommend that I change all four tires since the tires were getting bare anyways. It also said the tires were not in stock, and they also recommend tire alignment for $300. 2) There's a recommendation to change out my glove compartment, but it's also not in stock. At this point I was worried whether it was safe to drive my car home, given the nail in the tire. I went back to ask the woman who took my payment; she then got up and exited the waiting room, presumably to talk to someone. After some time, she came back and said it's fine to drive. I should not have to read about a nail in my tire on the receipt! I would've expected the service advisor to call out this information to me and to advise / give me options on how to address the situation. And on that glove compartment? I don't know why there's a recommendation to replace it. After I took the car home, my husband took a quick look, and flipped the side operators on the glove compartment door, and it's working again. This made me feel like the mechanic never took a look and just recommended I'd replace it. No one even talked to me about it. This has been a really poor experience for me. I've been a customer of the Putnam Lexus dealership to service my car since I bought the car in 2010. I get that this was a result of George going on vacation (and not his fault btw!), but the dealership should have better processes in place to ensure customers are taken care of regardless of vacation schedules

Beyond the call of duty when I found out my driver’s license was expired and they called an Uber. They valeted the car home since my husband could also not drive due to hip surgery. Got the car in quickly and serviced and back by the afternoon. Everyone provided exceptional service

I wanted to switch my car from Fahrenheit to Celsius, was told that the technician Taz was not available that day. They would not tell me when he would be in or schedule a time for me, but for me to call back later. I found this strange and not at expectations. Given that the technician works at Lexus, it would be a better experience to let me know when the tech wld be available to solve my issue. I called back and was not able to reach anyone either.

I don’t usually say silly things like this but since 2002 when I bought my first Lexus SUV I have been out of my mind happy with the treatment that I have gotten which is why I keep coming back! Today was another example of over-the-top perfection because not only did I drop my car off but I wanted to see but offered for the future as an SUV and I had a wonderful experience with LY… The fellow, David, who took care of my car today, went over all the concerns that I had as well as making the updates and whatever changes, cleanups & whatever had to happen to my car for its annual check up! You folks are really over the top IMHO, I’ll never stop coming to LEXUS
