I’m happy with the service on the recall. I’m very suspicious of the results of the complimentary service inspection which recommended an oil change, air filter change and several other services which I had recently completed. An oil change and air filter replacement was recommended for which I had just had done from another shop less than 700 miles (about 3 weeks previous) ago. Supposedly the oil and air filter were dirty in less than 700 miles. By the way, it’s full synthetic oil. Makes me wonder why Grapevine Ford tried to get me to purchase services I didn’t need.

I brought my car in for recall issues. Alfredo was great and handled himself professionally. However, I didn’t appreciate the BS text about there being 14 other issues that needed to be addressed immediately. I just spent a ton of money at a place I trust to fix a bunch of things. This is why I will never service my car at your dealership a part from recall issues.

What should of taken half a day took two full days. Aaron was not at work yet the morning we brought the truck in, which was scheduled for that day and there was a lot of chaos. Stood inside the garage for awhile before someone decided to help us. Seems as if our particular vehicle keeps having door lock issues. If it continues then I guess I’ll have to start purchasing A different brand of vehicle. We have a ‘07 Tahoe and never have had any problems with the doors or remotes. Still using the original battery on the remote.

Wish we could have had our recall service performed that we had scheduled our appointment for. Aaron did at least have our Zaxtech service taken care of so it wasn’t a wasted trip. Disappointed it took 4 calls to schedule this appointment and recalls were not done on Explorer.
