We were told to bring in the van on 5/5 at 9:30a to look at the AC system which appeared to have leaked all over the interior cabin floor. We had originally asked to also review the grinding noise when the van began to accelerate and when turning left. When my wife arrived, it was only noted for the AC review (which was fine). We received a text on 5/6 that the technician “heard a bunch of noises” and wasn’t sure. And they asked which one WE thought could be the issue for causing the wearing spot on one of our front tires. Unsure, we asked that they just focus on the AC system. We were told an AC technician wouldn’t be available for at least two more days, and he already had two other vehicles ahead of ours. Since I travel, and we live in Anna, TX, I put my wife up in a hotel to remain close to the vehicle. We had to board our dog as well. We finally received a loaner car on 5/7, and Monday 5/10, we were told the drenched cabin was not an AC issue (although there was a below-normal amount of coolant in the van) but due to a leak in the welded repair that is running down behind the windshield and into the cab. It began raining Monday 5/10, shortly after we picked the van up, and the cabin as of ~10:30am, the cabin was not wet. We reviewed our dashcam to note that the van was never driven off the lot for the front end inspection, and the hood of the van was never even opened. As such, the coolant was also not filled. Miguel was great with responding, customer service, and communication, and his desk partner (forgot name) was also great; as well as the lady at the rentals desk in the fleet office. We are questioning the work “completed” by any of the technicians, however. Over $1000 in costs, and zero updates were made to the van. We are also awaiting a call-back from a manager of the service techs regarding all of this.

Very disappointed and dissatisfied to see it took 4 hours (from 10 am to 2:00) for a simple oil change and reattachment of belly pan. If I was given a heads up when I brought the car, I would have arranged for someone to pick me up. This is the second time I have used the service from this location and both times, I have been very dissatisfied with the service. Not sure I would ever go back to Grapevine Ford and recommend this location to others.

The communication was lacking throughout the whole process. I also got a text from about 3 different numbers, not really knowing which number to respond to. Lastly and most importantly there is a scratch on the driver's side front fender that was not there before. I need to talk to someone about getting that fixed.
