Thanh is an excellent serviceman at Cerritos Honda and in my opinion the best. I can trust him to be honest and help me understand what critical work is needed on my 2012 Pilot. Thanh does such a great job that I now only ask for him when I schedule my appointments. Thank you Thanh for the terrific service, keep up the great work!

I bought this car around December and the next day I started hearing noises when I reversed and intermittently for the next 2 months. Unfortunately, due to my busy schedule it took me ~2 months to get it checked out at the dealership. When I got to the dealership and told the worker about the noises I heard he said it was probably nothing and I should go home and bring it back if it happens all the time but I insisted it be inspected. Unfortunately it was found the break pads need to be replaced. I am disappointed I was sold a nearly brand new vehicle with 5000 miles on it with faulty break pads. It is a big inconvenience having to not only get this checked out but I have to come back in a month to actually get it replaced. It is just very disappointing and inconvenient and I wouldn’t have expected this from not only a new car that I bought but also Toyota as a dealership. The metal on metal sounds started immediately the day after I bought this car when I was reversing so it is very unfortunate this wasn’t properly inspected before I bought this vehicle.

Marlen was great! However there was some confusion regarding the reason for service. We had made a claim for delamination of paint in June of 2024. They inspected the car and said left side doors, roof, hood, and deck lid would be repaired. I mention that the right side doors had spots where the paint was beginning to lift (bubbes). I was told they couldn’t repair the spots unless the paint was actually off. So when the paint was off, I called about having the right side repainted. The person was professional and said it was still under warranty, and made the appoint 2 mos. In advance for 2/17/26. Cerritos Hyundai said the warranty was expired, still inspected the damaged and sent it to corporate for approval. This is unfortunate because the damage on the right side was indicative of future failure of the paint, and yet ignored.
