The team went above and beyond to work with me and my situation, including squeezing me in, helping me get a rental, and working with my warranty company. Much appreciation to Bernie, Lem, and the team.
Service representative was very helpful, made it clear and understandable of the service being done. Most importantly I felt good about the service being done.

Everything was good. Too bad the part i need takes awhile to get here. I really appreciated the loaner car as we have only one car. Hopefully this will take care of the problem.

I did not have an appointment.
But the repair they had done 2 weeks ago was not effective.
It took more than 2 hours for another repair.
I was told it may not be effective or last long.
After 4 years, I am no longer happy or confident with Big Island Motors.

I dropped off my car for a scheduled 1:30 appointment. I was told 1 to 1-1/2 hours. I returned at 3:15 and the car was not ready. I asked how much longer and was told they were working on it and about 30 more minutes. About 10 minutes later I saw no one working on my car and asked again when it would be done. They hadn’t even started on it! I said forget it, I’ll take my car and go and drove away. About 40 minutes later I got a text saying my car service was complete and it was ready to come home. What a joke. The single worst service experience I have ever had in 50 + years of car ownership. I will not return to this business.
The work was done within the timeframe that was told to me. What was done was explained to me ahead of time and after the work was completed.
Slow or no response to text. I was told they would know if my subaru could be finished that day sometime after lunch but never heard back.
I was told this visit would take 1 hour. Instead it took at least 4 inconveniencing my family and myself.
Service taken care of and on time
I had a 1:50 appointment for oil change. When 3 pm came & went, I asked if my car was done since it was in the same spot as when I brought it. They hadn't even started. They finally got to it, was finished after 4 pm. Disappointing.
The only comment I have is that I don’t know the automatic headlights were turned off during service. It wasn’t until I got home in the dusk hour that I realized I was running around without lights.
Maybe best to leave that on auto for customers.
