I appreciate that Jon was able to squeeze my repair in (flat tire) so I could drive 35 miles home that evening on a full-size tire and not the temporary spare.
One thing I like to mention is that I have a hard time to believe that I have to either drive a lot or idle the engine for 30 minutes once a week in order to keep a full charge. In the last couple of weeks we were stranded twice as the battery had lost enough power to prevent the engine from starting. We have had this car ( 2018 Passat ) now for almost 2 years and in all that time we never had a starting problem. Nor did we ever had any starting problems with our previous Diesel powered Passat. And a couple of times recently I did not drive our Vanagon for 3 and 4 months and it always started again.

Very disappointed in waiting 70 minutes for a ride back home that never happened. My wife was on the way when Bob Mitchell came in and provided me with a loaner. I was told one driver for all the dealerships and Covid limits to one passenger. Poor planing. Either have more drivers or tell people to plan. I am glad Bob was working today and showed up to talk to me around 9:15am.

I got my truck back from the egr recall check engine light came on, on the way home. Checked codes. It was for egr valve. Checked under the hood and the technician had failed to plug in the egr wire.
Very good job. Patient and professional.
I asked if there was an issue with radiator. Told no. Car overheated today and daughter is bringing back tomorrow.

Wasn’t asked my age when I said I needed a loaner, ended up having to get a ride once at the dealership (home is an hour away) because of the simple miscommunication.
On a good note, I knew my car was in good hands for servicing.
