SF Honda assistant manager Aaron Wong is one of the reasons why I own a Honda. He lets you know what service you need & lets you know what repairs Are needed in the future. He knows all about Honda’s & explains clearly so you can understand. He’s a value added asset to SF Honda.

I was highly satisfied with Juan Martin and the service at the Folsom street location. However my initial interaction occurred at the 9th avenue location where I had a 1:00 appt that I had made because my indicator light showed I was in need of an oil change. There the service advisor was Kevin Lindner who proceeded to provide an laundry list of what needed to be done. When I asked him to pare it down to whatever could be accomplished today (I was prepared to wait all afternoon) he basically said that it was too late to even get an oil change, let alone anything else. When I indicated my surprise, considering that I had an appointment, he was totally unapologetic and instead assumed a non-caring and condescending manner that made me feel totally unimportant as a customer, especially since I am a long-time Honda owner and have routinely taken my car for service to your dealership or the one in Colma for servicing. Especially after having arranged my own schedule to get my car maintenance done, I was quite miffed at the inability to get even a basic oil change done on 9th Avenue despite my appointment, topped off by Kevin Lindner's very anti-customer attitude. I will NEVER go to 9th Avenue location again. Thankfully when I called the main service number, Al at the Folsom street location invited me to bring my car there instead, and Juan Martin was very helpful and accommodating, although by that hour, understandably some of the things that needed to be done could not be accomplished, although at least I got the oil change that I sought. Juan and Al provided excellent customer service at the Folsom Street location. Kevin Lindner did quite the opposite, to the point that he almost caused the permanent loss of a loyal customer. I think Kevin needs to rethink his attitude and management should consider whether he is an appropriate person to be a service advisor.
