In addition to completing the survey, I would like to request including the expected service time to be included in the service appointment email so that I can make the necessary transportation arrangements. For example, I scheduled an oil change for my 2015 Volt. Upon arrival, I was told that the service would take approximately two hours and I had planned to wait for the service as I expected it to be only an hour. If I had known the service duration, I would have made other arrangements.
I waited nearly two hours for an oil change.
I don’t think it should take 2 1/2 hrs for a simple oil change. Of course that has nothing to do with the service manager but has everything to do with management’s utilization of resources. Don’t go blaming your crew, management needs to look at your processes to figure out why an oil change takes that long.
Liana was very friendly patient and helpful. I wasn’t super impressed that parts were significantly cheaper at another dealership (Rydell) but I did appreciate your willingness to match their prices without hassle. The two auto techs who showed me the damages and then the repaired vehicle were also very helpful and kind. All in all a positive experience. Thank you.
