Don’t understand why my battery was not covered under my extended warranty. The new battery has a 3 year warranty so why did this battery have less than 3 years?

I felt that not everything was explained to me. This was my first maintenance visit after buying a new car. I wanted more information about my service contract and when I should bring my vehicle in next and what else is offered or included. This was a very simple transaction that I would expect from a five-minutes oil change place and not a dealership where I wait an hour and a half.

The representative told me (and messaged me) that my tire had a nail in it and it could not be repaired. He wrote that the nail was at an angle and that I would need to purchase a new tire. The car, a 2016 leased CRV with only 18,000 miles, recently had a tire rotation at another Honda is dealership and no issues were identified. I was also advised to have a tire alignment done. The total cost of the work was quoted at $262.21. I declined the work and brought my car to Costco. The nail didn’t even puncture the tire. The tire was repaired and tested for $10.99.
