My car broke down on a road near my home. It would not go back into drive after it was put in park. I had to have it towed to Honda of concord on New Year’s Eve. They called at 8:30 the day after New Years (because they were closed) and said there was nothing wrong with my car and I could pick it up. I asked what happened and was told that a code came up regarding my clutch sensor and that they cleared the code. I was then told that I was way overdue for a transmission fluid flush and change. I asked “when should it have been done?”. I was told 30k miles. My car currently has 53k miles on it. I was then told if my transmission goes out that Honda will blame me and it will be a red flag on my account because I didn’t do it when I was supposed to. I asked where this Information was located and was told my service manual. Since my car was at the dealer I looked at it online. I could not find anyplace that said when it should be done so I told my service manager to go ahead because I didn’t want to be at fault. When I went to pick it up I asked him to show me where he got the 30k mile information from. He could not produce any documents that state when the transmission fluid should be changed, except when the car throws a code. The only codes I have ever seen are for oil changes. He said that it must have been cleared each oil change. He said the transmission change (b3) code gets cleared when the oil change code is cleared. I said that shouldn’t happen if they happen at such dramatic mileage differences. He said it does and that’s why I don’t see it. I again asked him to show me the information stating where he found the 30k mile timeframe and he couldn’t and told me that he had other people waiting on him. This was at 6:00pm. I explained that if he is going to tell me I’m at fault for not following directions I would like the mileage information in writing. He could not produce the information and neither could anyone else in the department. All I am asking for is, in writing, where it states I should have that done 30k miles sooner than your normal V6 engine. He shouldn’t scare people into thinking their warranties will be voided if they don’t follow through with the services that he can’t show me. It’s more of a scare tactic to sell services that are not needed to your customers.

Went there to get a battery replacement for my 2007 Honda Odyssey. Didn’t have an appointment but the service team was more then happy to help me. Only had to wait an hour in the very nice waiting area. Service team was awesome courteous and professional. Will definitely be returning for any service work needed. Thank you!
