Friendly & knowledgable staff
I don't think it's right to schedule people for appointments when there is a backlog of work and a shortage of technicians. I arrived at 9am for my 9am appointment and ended up sitting there for 2+ hours before my car was even brought into the garage for a quick oil change and tire rotation. Really frustrating. And, the other two people who were in the waiting room had the same experience. Their appointments were at 8:00 and 8:30...but there vehicles weren't serviced until 11:00. Then, we learned about the backlog of vehicles, and that the other technicians don't even arrive until 9am. This is very unprofessional to schedule appointments for people who are waiting when you know full well that they will be sitting for hours. Very disappointing and frustrating for all three of us.
Our final discounted oil change from a service plan purchased with the vehicle was not used due to the vehicle mileage being slightly over the 80,000 mark. That's $80 more out of our pocket when the pre-purchased plan should have covered this interval. Never again.

The service department at Auffenberg Volkswagen is excellent. I have never had a bad experience there. The staff is friendly, accommodating, and very respectful. I recommend them to everyone.
Took far too long to make repair. My car was in the shop for almost 2 weeks, to repair damage from hitting a pothole. When I arrived to pick up my car, because the service department is under staffed and there’s no cashiers at all, I had to wait at least 20 minutes to pay my bill and actually get my car. Extremely poor management and customer service.
